We’re pleased to announce Remembrances MCP 1.4.6, a maintenance release focused on stability and reliability improvements based on valuable feedback from our community since the 1.0.0 launch.

What’s Fixed

🔧 Improved Memory Handling

We’ve addressed several issues related to how memories are processed and stored:

  • Better batch processing – Fixed an issue where processing large batches of embeddings could fail under certain conditions. The system now handles memory more efficiently when working with many documents at once.

  • Smoother data imports – Resolved problems that some users experienced when importing existing data or migrating from previous versions.

📊 Enhanced Statistics and Tracking

  • Accurate memory counts – Fixed inconsistencies in how the system reported the number of stored memories and documents.

  • Reliable timestamps – Corrected issues where creation and modification dates weren’t being recorded properly for some operations.

🔗 Better Relationship Management

  • Relationship creation fixes – Addressed problems when creating connections between entities in the graph database.

  • Improved entity lookups – Fixed issues that could occur when retrieving or listing stored entities and their relationships.

💾 Database Reliability

  • Schema handling improvements – Better handling of database migrations and schema updates, especially when upgrading from earlier versions.

  • Connection stability – Improved database connection management for long-running sessions.

Upgrade Recommendations

We recommend all users running version 1.0.0 through 1.4.5 to upgrade to this release. The upgrade process is straightforward:

  1. Download the new binary from GitHub Releases
  2. Replace your existing binary
  3. Restart the service

Your existing data and configuration will continue to work without any changes.
